This role is responsible for taking inputs from multiple functional groups and translating them into designs for new or revised turbomachinery components.The group is responsible for supplying CAD models/drawings to analysis and manufacturing.The chosen engineer will work closely and collaborate with experienced design leads to obtain the necessary knowledge to eventually take over their own product line(s).

Principal Accountabilities:

• Create, interpret, and review engineering drawings (both 2D and 3D)
• Create layouts as required to convey new design concepts and resolutions to engineering challenges
• Utilize Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) practices to help obtain the desired form, fit, and function
• Validate Bill of Material (BOM) for sales orders
• Work with suppliers and approve source control drawings
• Part disposition on defects from manufacturing and suppliers
• Support the shop, testing, and the field to address any design related issues

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (Mechanical Engineer)

Skills/Traits desired, not required:

• Strong attention to detail
• CAD proficiency (Creo preferred, but not required)
• Hands on type of person, likes to build/tinker in their off time
• Highly proficient in O365 suite of programs
• Coding experience

Compensation Benefits:

Base salary for this role ranges from $ 71,026.00, to $106,538.00. Actual salary will be based on experience. The total rewards package, beyond base salary includes:
