Description: Keville Enterprises, Inc. (KEI) in Boston, MA is seeking qualified construction inspectors to perform night shift inspection services on airport/airfield projects in Massachusetts, and potentially other New England states. A positive attitude is a must. Duties: Area of focus will be inspecting airfield and airport facilities construction work performed by construction contractors to ensure conformance with contract plans and specifications, contract administration, reporting daily progress, tracking and documenting quantities of work performed, resolving construction problems and challenges in the field, and other oversight responsibilities as assigned. Candidates shall have knowledge of: construction means, methods, and materials; strong communication skills; documentation control; and ability to read and interpret plans and specifications and to perform quantity takeoffs/calculations. Qualifications: Experience in inspecting, testing, or managing airfield and airport facilities construction projects is a must. Candidates must be fully proficient in the use of computers including MS Word, Excel, and construction reporting/quantity tracking software. Must have experience with and full understanding of airfield operations and FAA regulations. Must have effective written and oral communication skills, be eager to learn, willing to perform a variety of tasks, and be a team player. A minimum of three years of experience in airfield construction/inspection is required. Any of the following professional certifications are strongly preferred: NICET; NETTCP; ACI; NACE; AWS/CWI; ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor; EIT; CCM; CMIT; CACM. A Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) or Associate's Degree in a relevant field is preferred. Other: Employees assigned to driving duties ('drivers') must have a current, valid US State driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with Keville's driving policy. OSHA 10 certification is a condition of employment. This employer participates in e-verify.
