Job Description
We are seeking Business Systems Analysts (P&C Insurance). This is 100% Remote.

Overview:
Performs data analytics enablement and procures data. Works closely with the lead/senior to support them in data analysis work. Partners with predictive modeling resources to understand and document the data necessary to support a modeling effort. Identifies data gaps and propose solutions to fill those gaps. When needed, produces data requirements to be executed by our IT partners based on business needs/requirements. Performs validation of data assets produced by IT to ensure they are consistent with the data requirements and can be relied upon by the modelers.
Job Duties:
Perform exploratory data analysis on existing assets, identify deficiencies and gaps using SQL executed on data stored in Snowflake or SAS
Translate business needs into data requirements for IT build and execution
Perform data curation from DW structures to support predictive modeling efforts
Perform exploratory data analysis to assess readily available data and any gaps based on business needs
Partner with IT to enhance existing data assets to support advancements in product and pricing. This includes providing requirements, consulting on IT solution design, validation of the solution, and eventual consumption of the assets.
Requirements:
3 to 5 years' experience in data engineering, data curation, and/or analytic data builds
3 to 5 years’ experience in analysis and problem solving
3 to 5 years’ experience extracting requirements from existing systems, databases, documents, and subject matter experts
P&C Personal Lines business knowledge & experience in data analytics would be preferable.
