Job Description
A very fast-growing, leading innovator in AI-driven solutions and conversational technology is seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform Operations Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities :
● Infrastructure Management :
○ Provision, configure, and manage cloud resources.
○ Ensure high availability and scalability of cloud services.
○ Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
● Monitoring and Performance :
○ Monitor the performance and health of cloud infrastructure and applications.
○ Set up and maintain monitoring tools and dashboards.
○ Analyze performance metrics and optimize resource usage.
● Security and Compliance :
○ Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
○ Manage access controls and identity management.
○ Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
● Incident Management :
○ Respond to and resolve incidents and outages.
○ Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
○ Maintain incident response plans and conduct regular drills.
● Cost Management :
○ Monitor and optimize cloud spending.
○ Implement cost-saving measures and resource optimization strategies.
○ Provide regular cost reports and forecasts.
● Backup and Disaster Recovery :
○ Implement and manage backup solutions.
○ Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans.
○ Ensure data integrity and availability.
● Automation and Scripting :
○ Automate repetitive tasks and processes using scripting languages.
○ Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) scripts.
● Collaboration and Documentation :
○ Work closely with development, security, and operations teams.
○ Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of processes, configurations, and best practices.
○ Provide training and support to other team members.
