Joven Health is hiring Special Education Teachers to provide virtual instruction to K-12 students in Colorado!

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid Special Education teaching license/certification in the state of Colorado .
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Expertise in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs).
• At least 2 years experience teaching in a school setting (preferred).
• At least 1 year of online teaching experience (preferred).

Responsibilities and Duties

• Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique strengths, needs, and goals.
• Deliver engaging virtual instruction and support, utilizing innovative online tools and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and accessibility needs.
• Collaborate effectively with parents, caregivers, therapists, and other educators to ensure a holistic and individualized approach to student success.
• Monitor student progress, track IEP goals, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize learning outcomes.
• Utilize online assessment tools and reporting systems to document progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

About the Opportunity

• Our Special Education Teacher position is 100% remote.
• Daytime availability is required.
• All Joven Health providers are 1099 independent contractors and not employees.
