CPM has 5 operating pillars. Role Overview Professionals in CPM have an analytical mindset, exhibit intellectual curiosity, and come from diverse academic backgrounds. This role is within the Spend Management pillar. The role requires collaboration across functions, independence, interaction with senior professionals, in-depth analysis, and reporting for senior management. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and work closely with global counterparts. Job Responsibilities Develop multi-year global strategies using category management techniques to support business objectives. Partner with leadership to understand and manage third-party needs. Support procurement strategy creation and execution. Implement best practices in procurement and vendor management. Drive initiatives to reduce risk and create opportunities. Ensure proper contract structures, pricing, and performance metrics are applied. Work with legal to ensure proper agreements and compliance. Manage ESG commitments and reporting. Share knowledge and best practices within the team. Support compliance with third-party risk frameworks. Engage with risk partners to review control requirements and resolve issues. This position is based in Dallas with potential travel. Qualifications Bachelor's degree Minimum five years in strategic sourcing and category management, especially in indirect spend and corporate services sourcing. Strong technical, strategic, and project management skills, with a foundation in supply chain, procurement, legal, or operational risk management. Competencies Understanding of procurement strategies and value proposition. Ability to create and influence category strategies. Strong technical and analytical skills, attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure. Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills. Team player, collaborative, and communicative. Preferred Qualifications Experience negotiating complex contracts and SLAs. Strong project leadership and client management skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sourcing tools (Ariba, Fieldglass, PMweb).
