Job Description

We are looking for a Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our kitchen staff and maintain

cleanliness around our restaurant. Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper responsibilities include

collecting used dishes, plates and utensils, loading washing machines and stacking washed

items appropriately, as well as assisting food preparation, and other auxiliary tasks. If you want to kick start your career in the restaurant industry and be part of the behind-the-scenes

Responsibilities

 Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas

 Pre-wash dishes, load and unload dishwasher

 Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and cast iron pans)

 Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately

 Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, especially during peak hours

 Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and communicate when orders are necessary

 Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues

 Remove garbage regularly

 Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor

Required Skills

 Work experience as a Dishwasher or on Wait Staff (preferred but not necessary)

 Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed, including assisting with food prep

 Strong time management & organizational skills

 Attention to detail and sanitation rules

 Availability to work in shifts, during weekends and evenings

 High School Diploma a plus

 Must be able to work on your feet for long hours

 Must be able to lift 50+ Pounds

 Strong communication skills + a team mentality

Pay Rate: $16-$19/hour based on Experience
