Job Title: Documentation Specialist

Job Description

Join a leading global bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing organization as a Documentation Specialist in the quality team. This role involves preparing and reviewing essential documentation for the QC lab and implementing change control processes using the Global Quality Tracking System (QTS) and PDOCs.

Responsibilities

• Consistently adhere to company, site, and laboratory safety rules and promptly report any safety issues.
• Follow procedures at all times, adopting cGMP and cGDP practices.
• Edit and write Standard Operating Procedures and other documentation as needed.
• Initiate and facilitate change requests in PDOCS and the Global Quality Tracking System (QTS).
• Reconcile change requests from initiation to closure.
• Review and approve documents in the change control system.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree with 1 to 2 years of experience in a controlled document management/records management position.
• Thorough knowledge of cGMP and cGDP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast, priority-switching environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong reading comprehension and proofreading skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work and contribute in a team-based environment.
• Team and customer oriented.
• Ability to facilitate process improvements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in chemistry is ideal.
• Technical writing skills.

Work Environment

The role is primarily desk-based with significant time spent on the computer. It involves interaction with QC lab analysts, managers, supervisors, and SMEs within QC. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, starting between 7-9 am, for 8 hours a day. The on-site work is rotational with 2.5 days on-site and flexibility for remote work if preferred. Candidates must be willing to work on-site up to 5 days a week if business needs require.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rocky Mount, NC.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $43.00/hr.

This is a hybrid position in Rocky Mount,NC.
