Meet the Team: The main function of the Engineering Technician is to support engineering projects by adapting and applying engineering techniques, conducting tests and inspections, collecting data, preparing calculations and documents, assisting in process development activities, and performing various tasks requested by engineers.
Where you come in: - Responsible for and/or supports process development and engineering activities including sample prep, test setup, testing, data collection, basic data processing, data analysis, and communicating results
- Responsible for and/or supports various activities related to engineering/manufacturing projects requested by engineers.
- Responsible for and/or supports management of components, subassemblies, fully assembled devices through activities such as monitoring, sample preparation, inventory, transportation, and disposal.
- Supports development and implementation of manufacturing and supporting documents.
What makes you successful: - Strong proficiency with Microsoft productivity apps such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated knowledge of experimental planning and process development activities
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and personal interaction skills.
- Detailed-oriented and organized with strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Experience utilizing lens or sensor-type systems for inspection or characterization.
- Experience with setup and/or programming of temperature/humidity control systems.
- Experience with calibration and/or maintenance of lab equipment.
- Familiar with data analysis methods and analysis software.

Travel Required: Experience and Education Requirements: - Typically requires a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience and a High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.
