Position Overview:
SEG Solar is expanding its horizons in the solar industry and seeks a certified forklift operator to provide support within a warehouse environment. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, organize, and manage products and materials within our facility. Responsibilities:

• Material/product handling; loading and unloading trucks and containers; transporting materials and product to different locations withing facility.
• Effectively optimize loads for efficiency, securing loads before transportation.
• Stacking and organizing items in designated areas and storage areas.
• Tasks, including reporting, updating inventory, lists, and records.
• Perform routine pre- and post-operation inspection of the forklift; ensure the forklift is kept clean and well maintained.
• Report any malfunctions, safety hazards, or needed repairs to management.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures within the facility; maintain a safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient operations.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license.
• 2-5 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment preferably.
• Able to operate stand-up pallet jack.
• Forklift Certified
• Previous OSHA training a plus
• Ability to lift and move objects, potentially up to 50 pounds, stand extended periods, and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to judge distances and maneuver forklift in different spaces.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday ( must be available to work Saturday ) ; overtime available

Starting Pay: $15.00 ( Experience will be considered )
