Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a personable and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our exceptional team. As a Hotel Receptionist at 27 on Park Boutique Hotel & Venue, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and professional welcome. Your outstanding communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to ensuring a seamless guest experience will contribute to the success of our establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor, providing a positive first impression and setting the tone for their stay.
- Efficiently handle guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accuracy in reservations, billing, and room assignments.
- Respond to guest inquiries, providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services in a knowledgeable and courteous manner.
- Manage reservations and room assignments, optimizing occupancy and accommodating special requests whenever possible.
- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure timely room readiness and resolve any guest concerns.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions through hotels PMS System.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, ensuring it reflects the upscale image of the hotel.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of guest service and operational excellence.
- Provide assistance during special events and functions hosted at the venue, if needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a front desk or reception role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially during high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and reservation systems.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a genuine desire to provide exceptional guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
