Job Summary

We are seeking a Kickboxing Instructor to join our successful gym. As a kickboxing Instructor, you will plan and lead classes, ensuring that people of all fitness levels are able to participate. The ideal candidate is a positive, engaging teacher with a passion for fitness.

Responsibilities 

• Lead classes to Retro Fitness Church Ave members and guests
• Develop classes that are physically challenging, while keeping students engaged and safe
• Encourage students to continue with their pursuit of exercising and help them make good health decisions
• Promote programs, classes, and membership through social media and networking
• Deliver exceptional customer service in accordance with business policies

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required
• Current personal trainer or fitness instructor certification
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred 
• First aid and CPR-certified
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
