Mailroom Clerk

What You’ll be Doing

Looking for an opportunity to learn more about the industry and gain direct management experience?

We’re looking for a leader to Act as one, as you will resolve issues, accomplish goals be accountable for the department.

During a Typical Day, You’ll

• Document, sort, and route all mail (USPS, FedEx, UPS, others, office supplier vendor).
• Use on-line overnight mail systems; postage meter; receiving scanner.
• Mail Room and Copier consumables—maintain and provide supplies; change out toner, call for service.
• Run reports, record keeping, knowledge of postal and overnight regulations.
• Assist in furniture moves and Multimedia Center setup.
• Delivers mail to pre-established internal mail areas. 
• Collects outgoing mail and operates postage mailing machine as needed. 
• Serves as back-up receiving and facilities services for corporate offices
• MUST have open availability

  What You Bring to the Role

• Corporate Mail Room experience with technical knowledge of postage machines, FedEx & UPS software systems
• Computer savvy
• Able to lift 75 lbs, including moving office furniture; able to stand on feet for extended periods and walk 3 miles during mail sorting and delivery; able to operate fully loaded hand truck and mail cart
• Customer focused mindset and good organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadline

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $32,240 USD. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
