Senior Network Engineer **Location:** Washington, DC / remote HUD OIG sites

*Clearance:** U.S. Citizenship required; HUD background check
*Certifications:** Cisco CCNP/CCIE or Juniper JNCIS/JNCIP recommended

Salary range: $145k - $160k Description The Senior Network Engineer designs, maintains, and troubleshoots HUD OIG's enterprise network infrastructure across the Central Server Facility (CSF), Disaster Recovery Facility (DRF), and regional/field offices. Duties - Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network architecture (Cisco, Juniper, F5, Nutanix).

Conduct trade-off analyses of requirements against fiscal, schedule, and performance objectives.
Collaborate with program leaders to support IT modernization and cloud migration.
Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system restoration for mission-critical environments.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

10+ years of experience in enterprise networking.
Cisco CCNP/CCIE or Juniper JNCIP certification preferred.
Experience with WAN, LAN, VPN, WiFi, and cloud networking.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
