Job Summary As the ultimate leader of their store, a Store Manager is accountable for every aspect of the retail store performance, ensuring that all areas of the store are engaged, achieving key results, and delivering a world-class guest experience. Store Managers hire and develop people and create a store culture where team members feel a sense of belonging and have the opportunity to grow. Core Responsibilities Leadership and People Management Create and foster an inclusive team environment and culture Establish a vision for the store based on key metrics and initiatives Manage the store’s hiring strategy to build a diverse team Support ongoing learning and development through coaching and performance management Address employee concerns and escalate appropriately Guest Experience And Community Lead an exceptional guest experience through product education and coaching Direct team to ensure optimal guest experience and efficient store operations Address guest escalations and urgent requests Build brand awareness in the community with local partners and initiatives Plan local community projects and initiatives Operations, Product, and Strategy Drive store visual merchandising and product strategy Monitor inventory, product levels, and deliveries Plan quarterly and seasonal strategy, budgets, and labor Manage store P&L to achieve sales and budget goals Lead from the floor to coach and develop the team Adhere to safety policies and applicable laws Budget and People Accountable for controllable budget and labor hours; annual sales plan target Lead all store leadership roles; responsible for hiring and terminating store employees What We Look For Inclusion & Diversity, Integrity, Leadership, Decision Making/Problem Solving Drive/Entrepreneurship, Team Building, Strategic Thinking Change Management Leadership, Business Acumen, Interactive Communication Job Requirements Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the country of the store location Travel eligibility with reliable transportation Schedule Variable schedule including early mornings to overnights, weekends and holidays Experience 1 year of people management experience (recruiting, hiring, performance) 1 year managing business operations and retail scheduling Nice-to-have (Assets) High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree or equivalent 2 years retail or sales management experience Work Context Bright environment with music; team and independent work Occasional conflict resolution and guest issue de-escalation Relationship-building with community partners Occasional computer/virtual meetings; moving around store to assist guests Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs Compensation & Benefits Base Pay Range: $76,785 - $103,886 annually (subject to location). Target Bonus: 30%. Total Target Base Pay Range: $99,821 - $135,052 annually. Bonuses and equity offerings may apply per eligibility.
