Like our high-quality baby gear, our health and welfare benefits are superior, boasting an onsite state-of-the-art gym facility coupled with a $0 Copay / $0 Deductible Medical & Prescription Plan Design and a 401(k) with 6% Employer Match.

We are seeking a dynamic Post-Production Supervisor with a hybrid skillset that combines creative sensibility, technical post-production expertise, and strong shoot production skills. This role combines creative vision with operational excellence - establishing and managing seamless post-production workflows while guiding an in-house team and collaborating with trusted freelancers and vendors.

As the Post-Production Supervisor you'll oversee a diverse slate of video projects across our premium brands Nuna Baby and Tavo Pets. From ingest to final delivery, you'll ensure that all content is executed to the highest standard.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Pre-Production Deliverables

  • Partner closely with creative teams on content development, including script revisions, storyboards, and shot lists to ensure alignment with brand voice and storytelling objectives.
  • Collaborate with production crews in pre-production to plan technical specifications such as timecode workflows, frame rates, audio configurations, and dailies management.
  • Oversee data management processes including secure transfer, storage, and handoff of production assets to post-production teams.
  • Support conceptual project development with a solutions-oriented mindset, finding innovative ways to bring abstract ideas to life within production realities.

Production Deliverables

  • Produce small to mid-scale shoots in collaboration with the photo and video team—jumpstarting creative execution by securing in-house or external studios and assembling the right crew and gear to bring ideas to life, while bringing solid production knowledge to every phase, from sourcing talent to booking hair and makeup, and creating call sheets.
  • Manage shoot schedules with a sharp eye on creative flow, technical needs, and real-world constraints.
  • Confident and professional on set; comfortable liaising with directors, DPs, and talent, and serving as a brand representative during shoots.

Project Management

  • Develop and manage end-to-end post-production schedules—from raw media delivery to footage ingest to picture lock, sound mix, color grade, and final delivery.
  • Oversee all technical workflows, including data ingest, secure backups, transcoding, vendor coordination, and delivery compliance.
  • Coordinate with sound designers, and colorists to track milestones, troubleshoot issues, and ensure consistency across finishing stages.
  • Liaise with post houses to define scopes of work, secure estimates and bids, and manage timelines for larger or specialized projects.
  • Build and maintain style guides, SOPs, and documentation to streamline workflows across the department, support onboarding and training, and foster clarity and confidence that contribute to team morale.

Creative Oversight & Quality Assurance

  • Provide creative leadership to in-house editors: manage and mentor talent, give structured feedback, evaluate performance, and elevate creative output through clear direction and support.
  • Review and provide feedback on edits including story structure, pacing, copy, motion graphics, animation, music, sound design and color.
  • Ensure continuity of creative vision across teams by conducting regular reviews and reinforcing brand standards.
  • Collect and synthesize feedback from stakeholders to uphold the highest standards of storytelling and execution.

Talent & Vendor Management

  • Source, hire, and manage freelance staff (editors, assistant editors, VFX artists, colorists, composers), ensuring high-quality results and alignment with brand standards.
  • Curate voiceover talent, oversee recording sessions to ensure brand alignment and audio quality, and collaborating with business affairs to negotiate rates and secure contracts.
  • Collaborate with Business Affairs to secure freelancer contracts, vendor agreements, and usage licenses as needed for post.
  • Maintain and oversee a freelancer database, including an up-to-date roster, rate sheet, and performance tracking.

Asset & Resource Management

  • Manage templates, motion graphics packages, and software systems to ensure brand consistency across all video assets.
  • Curate brand-aligned music and source and license archival or stock footage to enhance storytelling while ensuring legal and rights compliance.

Communication & Operations Deliverables

  • Develop clear milestones and production schedules, ensuring alignment across project management teams and stakeholders on deliverables and deadlines.
  • Keep teams proactively informed and on track—communicating updates and nudging progress in a constructive, positive manner.
  • Provide timely, transparent status updates to leadership, flagging risks early and recommending solutions or resource adjustments when timelines are at risk.
  • Support department-wide budget planning and tracking, and serve as the primary liaison for vendor onboarding and coordination with Accounts Payable.

Continuous Improvement Deliverables

  • Establish workflows, policies, and post-production best practices to drive team performance, operational efficiency, and morale.
  • Leverage organizational insight and business acumen to build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners—both internal and external.
  • Proactively identify and pitch new content opportunities, while finding strategic ways to repurpose existing content and assets.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and trends in post-production, regularly surfacing tools and solutions that elevate team output.
  • Partner closely with technology and infrastructure teams to maintain and evolve the technical systems that support post-production operations.
