Job Description

The Product Management Intern assists the Product Management and Marketing (PMM) team within the Sales and Marketing Department with product development, product maintenance, product support, marketing material creation, event planning, and customer visits to Danfoss Turbocor’s facilities. The Product Management Intern both supports Product Managers with larger, longer duration projects and leads smaller, independent projects and initiatives within the organization. In addition to learning about HVAC products and manufacturing, the Product Management Internship provides an opportunity for an eager and motivated individual to learn the product development process, product marketing strategies, and customer interaction and relationship management

This is year-round internship, onsite at our facility in Tallahassee, FL.

Job Responsibilities

Requirements: 
•    Availability to work 20 hours / week during business hours during the Fall and Spring semesters. Available to work up to 40 hours / week during business hours in the summer. Business hours are M-F 8-5.
•    Experience with MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is required and experience using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign is preferred.
•    Experience with creating and editing video content for social media promotion
•    Preference is given to candidates that can work year-round and for a minimum of three semesters.

Background & Skills

Experience / Education:
Ideal candidate will be a currently enrolled student seeking a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or in an alternative discipline with high technical acumen.

Key Responsibilities: 
•    Support Product Managers with new product development, product launch planning, competitive benchmarking, market research, and product roadmapping.
•    Represent Product Management on cross-functional Product Maintenance and Improvement (PMI) project teams.
•    Lead departmental projects such as process automation and tools development.
•    Create and maintain technical and marketing product literature such as brochures, product guides, and PowerPoint presentations.
•    Support internal promotional campaigns for Danfoss events and accomplishments by assisting in planning and coordiation, creation promotional material, and hosting events.
•    Support and lead a variety of tasks and activities assigned to the Product Management team.
