Job Description

CSM is searching for industrial ironworker/metal roofing and siding installers to fill positions near Port Arthur, TX. Project duration is expected to be 12 months. Work is to be 5 days per week and 10 hours per day. We are also looking for long-term workers, so travel to/from different projects would be required.

-Pay varies with experience -

o Apprentice - $19.50 /Hr. plus $10.00/Hr. per diem = Total Pay $29.50 /Hr.

o Ironworker - $28.38/Hr. plus $10.00/Hr. per diem = Total Pay $38.38/Hr.

 

·Qualifications:

• Drug/Alcohol testing and 7 -year background check is required with no felonies
• · TWIC card or ability to obtain
• · Weekly pay by direct deposit
• · Permanent positions benefits include health insurance, paid vacations, 401K with employer contributions, paid holidays

 

Job Skills

We are looking for all skill levels. Below are the preferred and recommended skill levels for an ironworker pay level.

• Experience with industry tools(drills, screw guns, nibblers, etc.), safety requirements and 100% fall protection
• · Ability to give measurements and layout panels with simple penetrations
• · Able to install sheet metal flashings/trim correctly and in a timely manner
• · Manlift training/experience
• · Basic rigging skills.
• · Must be able to work well in a team setting
• · Insulated metal panel experience.
• Standing seam metal roofing
