School Transportation Driver-CDL Class C or above

Sunrise Transportation, LLC is actively hiring school bus drivers for their Rockford location. We are looking for safe, friendly drivers with a CDL Class C or above to help transport our Special Ed Students to and from school. Do you have a CDL but not the correct endorsement? Don’t worry, our elite team of trainers will assist you with the endorsements necessary to be a licensed and certified School Bus Driver. Responsibilities
Drive a school bus and transport students in a safe and courteous manner, Greet students, ensure on-time schedule and maintain a safe environment, Notify dispatch of any incidents, accidents, mechanical concerns, Other duties as required

Qualifications
21 years old, with a CDL Class C or above, A valid driver’s license for 3 continuous years and in good standing, Excellent customer and communication skills, High school diploma or GED preferred

Requirements:
• Sit for extended periods of time
• Lift, push, pull, and carry tools, objects, or equipment without assistance
• Move up and down stairs easily
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
