Description: We are seeking a qualified FedRAMP Assessor to join our team. This role involves conducting security assessments of cloud service providers (CSPs) to ensure compliance with the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of CSPs against FedRAMP / StateRAMP requirements.
• Consult with clients looking to implement NIST 800-171 and prepare for CMMC.
• Prepare and review documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessments, and Security Assessment Plans.
• Work closely with clients to understand their cloud architecture and security controls.
• Provide guidance on implementing necessary security controls to achieve FedRAMP authorization.
• Coordinate with third-party auditors and federal agencies.
• Stay updated with changes in federal cybersecurity policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Excellent consulting and customer service skills.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security or GRC, preferably with FedRAMP assessments.
• Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800 series, especially NIST SP 800-53.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISA, CAP, etc.) are a plus.
