Technical Sales Representative
Technical Sales Representative Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through face-to-face customer visits
• Timely follow up on new and existing sales leads and inquiries converting as many as possible into sales
• Develop strategies for penetrating new accounts and future growth in territory
• Manage new project development coordinating with customer and company engineering
• Attend joint calls with Engineering staff quarterly with focus on generating new projects
• Drive communication and teamwork with Inside Sales representatives regarding customer activities
• Perform all account management functions including sales, product delivery and accounts receivables
• Manage new project development coordinating with engineering department
• Prepare and submit daily sales activity report
• Monitor open order report and work with customers and sales representatives to ensure timely delivery
• Participate in trade shows, quarterly sales meetings and ongoing product knowledge training
• Manage and oversee the RMA process
Technical Sales Representative Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering required
• 1-3 years of Sales or Engineering related experience; preferably within a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings
• Sales mentality with strong technical aptitude
• Microsoft Office knowledge - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
