AlliedTravelCareers is working with Pride Health to find a qualified Medical Assistant in ST. PETERSBURG, Florida, 33701!

About The Position
Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility, located in St. Petersburg, FL . This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance). and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Specific Duties:

• Performed patient rooming, vitals collection, and comprehensive patient assessments.
• Conducted basic laboratory testing and assisted with clinical diagnostic procedures.
• Drew blood and managed specimen handling according to clinical standards.
• Completed clinical reports, documentation, and daily operational logs.
• Processed medication refills and handled provider-assigned clinical tasks.
• Answered multi-line phones, provided patient support, and coordinated appointment needs.
• Assisted with front office coverage, ensuring smooth patient flow and efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of preferred experience
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification

Additional Information:

• Location: 7501 MLK Jr St N, St Petersburg, FL 33702
• Job Type: 3+ months contract assignment (conversion into permanent based on your work performance).
• Schedule: - Monday through Friday
• Office Hours: Monday -Friday 8 am-5 pm
• Pay Range: $18-23/hrs. on W2 without benefits
