Virtual Receptionist - Work from Home (Hiring in the U.S. and Mexico only)

What you will do…

• Work 100% remote, working in the convenience of your home

• Answering calls for a variety of different businesses and professionals

• Taking messages, screening new clients, booking appointments, collecting payments, and transferring calls

• Understanding the caller’s needs and providing business information

Before you apply you must have...

• Authorization to work in the United States (if you are US-based) and the ability to pass a background check
• A personal desktop or laptop computer with Google Chrome browser installed
  • Minimum 8GB RAM
    Minimum 1024x768 display resolution
• A reliable broadband internet connection. Must have less than 50 ms ping, greater than 10 Mbps download, and greater than 3 Mbps upload (tested by and 
• Strong typing skills: at minimum 40 wpm
• A quiet environment for answering calls, plus headset with a microphone arm attached. 

CHOOSE FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME
We operate 24/7/365. We hire for both full-time (40 hours/week) and part-time positions. We offer flexible hours with a requirement to work one shift on Monday and a minimum of 25 hours per week. Our scheduling offers set hours, providing a level of predictably for our agents and contributes to a positive work/life balance. Shifts are broken into 2- to 5-hour blocks, and are scheduled based on the business needs of Smith.ai and its clients, as well as your availability.

OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES
We are constantly expanding our services for small businesses, and one of our newest offerings is Outreach Campaigns. In addition to answering incoming calls as Virtual Receptionists, our Outreach Campaign team members are specially trained to handle various types of outbound calls. The work often entails appointment setting, customer follow-ups, pre-sales engagement, and more. Your pay and benefits will be...

For U.S.-based agents

• Starting, entry-level rate of $15/hour
• Starting, entry-level rate of $16/hour for bilingual agents who speak fluent English and Spanish
• Paid training
• Healthcare benefits available for agents working 30+ hours weekly

For Mexico-based agents: 

• Starting rate of $11/hr
• Paid training

Additional potential earnings and benefits:

Pay: From $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
