UX Documentation Writer / Content Strategist You’ll turn complex design system concepts into clear, engaging guidance for two audiences: Non-UX stakeholders (who need to understand why this matters) UX practitioners (who need to know how to contribute, use, and evolve the system) UX Documentation Writer / Content Strategist - What you'll do: Build and maintain a smart content strategy for internal UX documentation Write stakeholder-friendly content that explains design systems, workflows, and impact Create taxonomy and microcopy for anatomy pages (components, patterns, tokens, etc.) Draft clear guidance for contributing code/design, using tokens, and more Help define voice, tone, and structure for a cohesive internal resource UX Documentation Writer / Content Strategist - What you bring: 5+ years in UX writing, content strategy, or design Proven ability to craft documentation with clarity, purpose, and structure Deep familiarity with design systems (atomic design, tokens, components—you get it) Experience developing content strategies and scalable documentation frameworks Bonus if you’ve worked in financial services or other regulated industries Contract role – hybrid 3 days/week onsite in downtown Chicago Must be eligible to work as W2 hourly consultant $55-60/hr Ready to bring order and clarity to the UX chaos?
