Duties:
Advise clients on employment law issues, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Draft and review employment documents such as handbooks, contracts, and policies.
Provide counsel on harassment, wrongful termination, discrimination, and whistleblower protections.
Conduct risk assessments on employment practices and recommend solutions.
Stay updated on employment law developments to maintain compliance.
Guide employers on workplace matters and employee relations.
Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years of employment law advising and counseling experience.
Strong knowledge of California and federal employment laws.
Excellent analytical, communication, and client management skills.
Education:
Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Active member of the California State Bar.
Skills:
Expertise in employment document drafting and review.
Strong research and legal analysis capabilities.
Ability to build client relationships and provide clear legal advice.
