JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Follow all risk management guidelines according to branch policies and procedures.
2. Report all accidents & incidents on the appropriate form.
3. Ensure all forms are filled out correctly and submitted to the front desk.
4. Notify supervisor of any concerns with the facility or equipment to ensure safety.
5. Enforce all program rules and policies.
6. Be knowledgeable and prepared to implement emergency procedures.
7. Secure outside assistance when building tasks are beyond experience level.
8. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of facilities.
9. Perform duties deemed necessary by management.
10. Keep custodial and maintenance areas organized and clean, minimizing supply costs by mindful usage.
11. Foam and clean pool and locker room areas.
12. Remove snow and ice from sidewalks during winter.
13. Keep entrances and exits clean and attractive.
14. Follow and help implement OSHA and MSDS standards and procedures.
15. Use current wet floor signs when cleaning.
16. Replace lights and refill dispensers throughout the facility.
17. Complete daily checklists and address areas needing attention.
18. Attend staff meetings.
19. Support Strong Community Campaign efforts.
20. Perform other duties as assigned.

Effect on End Result: The net promoter scores will positively reflect the clean and safe conditions of the facility. Overall appearance impacts membership retention.

Education/Experience:

• Minimum age of 18.
• Relevant experience with cleaning facilities.

Physical/Mental Demands:

• Perform physical activities such as climbing stairs, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 35 pounds, finger dexterity, grasping, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and detailed visual tasks.
• Effective communication skills.
• Problem-solving, organizational, and task management skills; ability to make independent decisions in a changing environment.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Demonstrate initiative and sound judgment.
• Ability to work with diverse groups in a friendly and consistent manner.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team and independently, leading when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
