Warehouse Associate – Shipping & Receiving / Order Picker\n\n
Location: Warrendale, PA
\nPay Rate: $18.50/hour
\nShift: First Shift (Start 6:00–8:00 AM, End 2:30–4:30 PM)
\nSchedule: Monday–Friday (Overtime as needed)
\nPosition Type: Long-Term Temporary (Until Feb)
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, order picking, and ensuring all customer orders are completed safely, accurately, and on time. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment, where attention to detail and teamwork are key to success.
\n\n \nKey Responsibilities\n\nShipping & Receiving
\n\nVerify accuracy of all shipping and receiving documents.
\n\t\n\tMatch counts to picking/purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
\n\t\n\tCollect and file all shipping/receiving documentation.
\n\t\n\tPick, label, and prepare orders for shipment.
\n\t\n\tSchedule inbound/outbound freight in coordination with the Warehouse Manager.
\n\t\n\tMaintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
\n\t\n\tIdentify and process backorders for expedited handling.
\n\t\n\tReceive UPS orders, verify product categories, and stock accordingly.
\n\t\n\tVerify accuracy of incoming merchandise.
\n\t\nOrder Picking/Pulling
\n\nUse warehouse management system (WMS) to identify items for picking.
\n\t\n\tAccurately pick customer orders and stage them for shipment.
\n\t\n\tSafely operate material handling equipment to transport and organize items.
\n\t\n\tRepack, weigh, and organize orders as needed.
\n\t\n\tMaintain warehouse equipment and report issues.
\n\t\n\tSupport overall warehouse safety and security.
\n\t\nAdditional Functions
\n\nPlace incoming merchandise into inventory.
\n\t\n\tConduct physical inventories as needed.
\n\t\n\tMHE required: Electric pallet jack, hand pallet jack and carts
\n\t\n\tPerform other duties as assigned.
\n\t\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.
\n\t\n\tPrevious warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
\n\t\n\tAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
\n\t\n\tStrong attention to detail and accuracy.
\n\t\n\tAbility to follow written, verbal, and diagram instructions.
\n\t\n\tMust pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
\n\t\n\tMust be flexible to work overtime when required.
\n\t\nMust wear protective footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards (self-provided, required on Day 1).
\n\t\n\tAbility to stand, walk, lift, and operate warehouse equipment throughout the shift.
